I make delightful digital experiences for people
Good usability
Solving the messy design problems of everyday things.
Beautiful designs
Helping others find their visual groove on the web.
Clean code
Writing organized, thoughtful, and accessible front-ends.
My mission is to help build a better and more navigable world by lessening the toil and trouble of everyday perplexities.
I'm inspired by the moments that usually go unnoticed. Moments like opening a door or unknotting a bag because I believe it's attention to the seemingly trivial details that truly make user experiences effortless.
What I do
Usability research
Making sense of ambiguous design problems, prototyping, and testing the solutions.
Design systems
Creating coherent and consistent digital products, style guides, and pattern libraries.
Front-end development
Prioritizing performance, usability, and accessibility in user interfaces.
Information architecture
Organizing and planning content to match people's needs.
Branding
Designing logos and building memorable visual identities.
Googling
And being thankful for sites like Stack Overflow, Youtube, NNgroup, and CodePen 🙏

A bit more about me
I'm based in Vancouver, but was lucky to have lived and grown in different places around the world. From Beijing to Aberdeen, from Calgary to Bangkok, and to a few others in between.
I've a love for travel and seeking memorable new experiences. When I'm not at work, you'll likely find me jogging around False Creek, trying to solve a new boulder problem at The Hive, or just melded to my couch with a good book or TV show on.
